When it comes to entrepreneurship, a lot of the influential in the space take lessons from our past and apply them in the present.
Think of the following quotes:
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" - Lao Tzu
"Rome wasn't built in a day"
"The man who moves mountains begins by carrying away small stones" - Confucius
"I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." - Bruce Lee
These quotes set the tone for this post: how entrepreneurs build habits that transform their lives. These habits build impact.
When you're unmotivated or feel overwhelmed by everything going on... an entrepreneur will tell you to take a tiny step forward.
That small step compounds overtime.
We tend to get disheartened when we can't give it our all in a day.
Sometimes, we just aren't motivated.
As habits are built by taking small steps, it is recommended that you start small and work your way up.
Entrepreneurs know that taking a small step towards your goal is better than nothing.
If you can only perform 70% of that 100% today, give 100% of that 70%.
"You are the average of the five people you spend time with."
You've heard this quote a lot if you've been in the space. This one is true to habit: habits can be influenced by your environment.
If you're around people not looking to grow, you're going to be indirectly influenced by them.
Spend time with like-minded individuals, whether it is meetups, podcasts, mentor groups, and more.
With social media, it's so easy to be disheartened by the business professionals or the athletes that have made it big.
Most of these individuals, just like you, had to work for it.
I believe you have a bigger opportunity today to expand and grow with social media. This is coming from an individual who has a long way to go.
Creating content through storytelling and documenting has allowed me to build physical and mental reps in my business.
Just like fitness, every rep eventually gets better. You add more weight. Muscles grow. Progress stalls. The journey consistently repeats.
All of this comes from trial & error, and consistent practice.
Successful entrepreneurs are aware of this: consistency builds success overtime. You might not see it, but it's there.
To summarize, here are a few thoughts to recognize:
Motivation is the charge. Discipline is the battery.
This is something we believe in. Discipline is built by the doing; motivation is built from internal and external thoughts.
We hope this brings you a charge to your battery.

A few weeks ago, my buddy Grant and I talked about nutrition.
We talked about how he's lost over 120 pounds so far with the weight loss progress he's been making.
This is all because he has been making healthier decisions over time.
One of the newest challenges he's facing right now is he's got a new job. He's working 10 to 12 hour days with physical demanding labor.
And what's been happening for him is that he's been super exhausted, he's not motivated to meal prep, he's having trouble trying to sit down and cook foods doesn't have the energy doesn't have the time.
So what I propose is five tips that you can use to live a more on the go fast food healthy eating lifestyle.
