When it comes to exercise, most of us forget one of the most important part of fitness: recovery.
Some of us go too hard in the gym and neglect it. I neglected it myself often, which held me back from improving myself for years.
So we decided to formulate a Post-Workout supplement destined to help you fuel your recovery.
Introducing Synergy, our Mind & Body Restoration Formula.
Seize the opportunity with Synergy, our Nootropic Post-Workout Formula!
Synergy was scientifically formulated to accomplish the following goals:
Ultimately, Synergy is an evidence-based post-workout formula crafted to help you recover faster, helping you make more GAINS in the long-run!
Synergy is made up of four components that synergistically work in two phases to provide compounded benefits.
In the Body Restoration Phase, Creatine and L-Carnitine L-Tartrate synergistically work together to help aid in workout performance and recovery.
In the Mind Restoration Phase, Alpha-GPC and Ashwagandha come together to improve energy levels and reduce fatigue.
Now let's explore each ingredient individually.
Creatine is a molecule that our body produces from amino acids. It has been shown to improve muscle strength, power output, and recovery.
How Creatine works is that it rapidly produces energy for intense exercise. This means that it primarily improves exercise performance in the gym.
It is the most studied supplement in the industry, with 5g being the industry standard. We use Creatine Monohydrate as it is one of the best forms.
L-Carnitine is a compound that your body produces from the amino acids lysine and methionine. L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (LCLT) is a modified version of L-Carnitine that has been shown to help improve recovery. Adding to that, LCLT may also reduce muscle soreness.
Alpha-GPC is a choline containing molecule that is used to promote brain levels of acetylcholine. Acetylcholine helps with memory and learning functions.
Alpha-GPC has also shown some promise in improving power output through peak force production.
Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that is known as the "King of Ayurvedic Herbs". It has been shown to help with a variety of factors, from improvements in exercise performance, to stress relief and reductions in anxiety.
In one study, ashwagandha significantly improved the performance of their bench press by 44lbs, compared to a placebo group. Another study showed ashwagandha has the capability to improve velocity, power, and VO2 max in adults.
As you can see, ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogen that enhances mind & body performance through prolonged usage. We use 300mg of ashwagandha for the best results.
For more on Ashwagandha, we wrote a guide about it here.
Stacking Impulse with Synergy works really well with both of their nootropic effects. As the CDP-Choline (in Impulse) and Alpha-GPC (in Synergy) both work to promote brain levels of acetylcholine, expect to see an increase in focus, concentration, memory and learning processes.
Stacking Catalyst with Synergy allows you to craft a complete synergistic Workout Performance Stack.
Catalyst will help facilitate improvements in workout performance through the Nitric Oxide Boosters L-Citrulline & Beta-Alanine.
Stacking Drift with Synergy gives you a complete Recovery Stack: perfect for evening workouts.
Synergy will help you improve performance and workout recovery.
Drift will help with sleep quality and quantity, allowing you to optimize recovery in its entirety.
Take one scoop after your workout or whatever time is most convenient for you.
You can use 1/2 a scoop to assess for tolerance.
For best results, take it consistently.
You can take Synergy during your workouts, but be aware that it could cause stomach upset.
Absolutely! In fact, components like Creatine and Ashwagandha should be taken consistently for best results.
For best results, we recommend taking it after your workouts because of a study that showed promise in taking creatine supplements post-workout.
From personal experience, I prefer taking it after my evening workouts, as I tend to crave flavor in the evenings. This is followed by a post-workout meal, and our sleep supplement, Drift.
If you prefer to take it at other times of day, that is ok as well. Just make sure to take it consistently.
To conclude, Synergy is our complete Mind & Body Restoration Formula.
Each component was synergistically formulated to accomplish the following:

A few weeks ago, my buddy Grant and I talked about nutrition.
We talked about how he's lost over 120 pounds so far with the weight loss progress he's been making.
This is all because he has been making healthier decisions over time.
One of the newest challenges he's facing right now is he's got a new job. He's working 10 to 12 hour days with physical demanding labor.
And what's been happening for him is that he's been super exhausted, he's not motivated to meal prep, he's having trouble trying to sit down and cook foods doesn't have the energy doesn't have the time.
So what I propose is five tips that you can use to live a more on the go fast food healthy eating lifestyle.
