Over 35% of adults in the United States say that they get less than seven hours of sleep each night.

This is sleep deprivation.

With sleep deprivation, we can expect the following:

Adding to thatone study found that it takes four days to compensate for one hour of lost sleep time.

On Sleep Supplements

As you can see, there is a need for better sleep, which is why sleep supplements are incredibly popular.

When it comes to sleep supplements, however, many sleep products promise a good night's rest.

We believe there's more to sleep than JUST a good night's rest!

We can't neglect the following:

  • The ability to relax before bedtime.
  • The ability to fall asleep soundly.
  • How you feel AFTER waking up.

Now we still believe the best solution is to get more sleep or improve the quality of sleep. But we wanted to create a sleep aid that will help people improve their sleep quality if they know they aren't going to get enough sleep in... and to help people get the best night's rest to prepare for tomorrow's battles.

So we decided to formulated a complete evening ritual supplement that helps you before, during, and after sleep.

This is why we created Drift, our Sleep Rejuvenation Elixir.

About Drift

Seize the night with our Sleep Rejuvenation Elixir, Drift!

Drift was forged to accomplish the following goals:

  1. Help promote calmness before bed.
  2. Reduce the time it takes to fall asleep.
  3. Assist in improving sleep quality (how restful the sleep was).
  4. Help you wake up in the morning energized and well-rested.

In accomplishing these four goals, Drift provides you the ultimate opportunity to help you seize a great night's rest!

The Components of Drift

Drift is made up of five components that synergistically work in three steps to provide compounded benefits when combined together.

In the first step, L-Theanine and Lemon Balm create a calming and anxiety-reducing experience before bed.

Then, Melatonin, our sleep neurohormone comes in to help us fall asleep quicker.

Lastly, the synergistic combination of L-Glycine and Magnesium Glycinate work together to reinforce our sleep throughout the night... helping us wake up in the morning energized for tomorrow's battles.

Now let's explore each ingredient.

L-Glycine

L-Glycine is an amino acid and nootropic that assists in improving our quality of sleep. According to a double-blind study, supplementing with L-Glycine reduced the time it took to fall asleep. As a result, it reduced daytime fatigue and improved brainpower.

Since sleep deprivation affects our mood and energy levels, supplementing with glycine has been shown to aid in improving brain power and reducing fatigue.

We use 1g of L-Glycine to help with sleep quality and fatigue reduction.

Magnesium Glycinate

Magnesium is an essential micronutrient that aids in reducing blood pressure, improving bone mineral density, and improving sleep quality.

In one study, magnesium helped improve sleep in individuals over 51 years of age with poor sleep quality. Magnesium promotes GABA levels, which is a neurotransmitter that also helps with sleep.

We use Magnesium Glycinate to work synergistically with L-Glycine to improve its effects.

L-Theanine

L-Theanine is a nootropic found in green tea that helps promote relaxation and calmness. While it is typically used with caffeine, we extracted l-theanine for its calming and anxiety-reducing properties. According to one study, l-theanine promoted uninterrupted sleep in boys with ADHD.

L-Theanine has also been shown to elevates GABA levels, which helps promote relaxation and sleep.

Lemon Balm

Melissa officinalis (lemon balm) is a herb that helps with a variety of things, namely calmness and anxiety.

In regards to calmness, one double-blind study showed that lemon balm reduced the perception of stress and promoted calmness as a result.

In one pilot trial, lemon balm extract in a 600mg dose was shown to reduce anxiety and anxiety-related insomnia.

We use lemon balm in 600mg to help promote the calmness effects before bed.

Melatonin

Melatonin is a hormone that is normally made in our brains in the evenings that regulates sleep.

While our body typically produces it, supplementing with it has shown many benefits, like reducing the time it takes to sleep and improvements in sleep quality.

We only use 1mg of melatonin so that we don't encounter any unpleasant side effects, like feeling groggy upon waking.

Synergistic Components

Our goal has always been synergistic components that augment or improve their effects.

You can see this from the five main components:

  • L-Theanine and Lemon Balm helps promote calmness before bed.
  • Melatonin, L-Glycine, and Magnesium Glycinate work together to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep, in addition to improving sleep quality.

With Reforged products, we utilize less ingredients, allowing us to clinically-dose our ingredients.

Less means we can give you more of what matters most.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do you use Drift?

To take Drift, take one scoop 30-60 minutes before bed.

You can assess tolerance by taking 1/2 scoop at the beginning.

Do not exceed more than the recommended one scoop per day.

Why Do You Use Only 1mg of Melatonin?

When it came to formulating Drift, we always had issues with supplements that contained over 3-5mg of melatonin. We always felt super groggy the next morning, making it harder for us to get up out of bed.

So we decided to use only 1mg of melatonin. This forced us to add more ingredients that would improve sleep quality.

The Reforged Legion (our customers) that have used 5mg of melatonin in the past. They always had the same issues. We are happy to say they're extremely satisfied that they can use less and feel significantly better and well-rested.

How can I optimize my sleep with Drift?

Firstly, we recommend using the various sleep strategies in our sleep quality articles before starting to supplement with a product like Drift.

Once you create a consistent schedule and utilize our sleep strategies & tips, you can supplement with Drift.

Since supplements augment your lifestyle, it is highly recommended that you build healthy habits around proper sleep before using Drift.

Should I Cycle Drift?

You don't necessarily have to cycle it, but if you feel more rested supplementing with Drift for 5 days straight, followed by 2 days without it, we highly recommend that strategy for yourself.

If taken for consistently for over a month, we recommend taking a few days to a week off before getting back into supplementing with Drift.

Sleep is very individualized, so find what option works best for you.

If I Don't Get Enough Sleep, Should I Take Drift?

Some days are rough, and we totally understand this!

If you typically have a good habit around sleep, but you know you won't get enough sleep on an upcoming day, we recommend taking Drift.

Understand it's always better to prioritize proper sleep first before supplementation.

Seize the Night.

  • Reduce the time it takes to fall asleep.
  • Promotes calmness before bed.
  • Improves sleep quality.
  • Wake up feeling energized and ready to seize the day.
